UMaine Alumni of the Lowcountry

UMAL was formed in 2008 as a social organization with a goal of sharing memories of UMaine with fellow alumni and also with a goal of giving back to our alma mater and for the 2022-2023 academic year, UMAL provided $3,600 in scholarship money that was split among three students, all from South Carolina. The first annual scholarship donation of $1,000 was made in 2011, and since then, a total of $23,750 in scholarship money has been provided to deserving students. If you have ever been a UMAL member, attended Lobster Maine-ia or other UMAL event, you have helped us raise money for this annual scholarship.
