John Cangelosi ’12G received the 2020 Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Teaching. He has been teaching at Bangor High School since 2008. John teaches in a multi-year STEM program, where students work in projects over the course of their high school careers. He is also an instructor and facilitator in UMaine’s Stormwater Management Research Team program.
