UMaine Alumni Association Elects Officers & Directors | 2025

 

Nate Wildes ’12 of West Bath, ME, has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors of the
University of Maine Alumni Association. The board held its election of officers and directors at
the Association’s Annual Meeting on June 13 in Portland. Wildes is Managing Partner of Flight
Deck Brewing in Brunswick, and also serves as Executive Director of the nonprofit Live + Work
In Maine. As Chair, Wildes will represent the Alumni Association on the University of Maine Board of Visitors

 

Theresa Joyce Lee ’87 of Northborough, MA (L), was honored at the meeting for serving as Board Chair for the past two years, and will remain on the board as Immediate Past Chair. Lee is the Chief Development Officer at New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill. Other officers elected at the meeting were Mark Bolduc ’84 of Dixfield, ME (M), as Vice Chair, and Jeff Rogers ’16 of Westbrook, ME (R), as Treasurer. Bolduc is the owner & President of The Fitch Company, and Rogers is Vice President of Operations & Finance at ProInfoNet. Alumni Association President & CEO Tom Peaco ’88 will continue to serve as Corporate Secretary as outlined in the organization’s bylaws.

The board also elected two new members during the meeting. James Kachmar ’94 of Buxton,
Me (L) is a Partner with Doctors Disability Specialists, and Elizabeth Tull Johnston ’13 of South
Portland, ME (R) is an Associate Attorney at Verrill. Kachmar and Johnston were each elected to
three-year terms on the board.

 

The board honored two members who had reached the completion of their terms on the board.
Julia Munsey ’02 of Bangor (L), ME served on the board for 10 years, including three years as Board
Chair, and Elizabeth Downing ’77, ’44H of Brewer (R), ME served for a total of 12 years.

 

Six current board members reached the end of their first three-year term and were elected to a
second term, including Board Chair Nate Wildes and Treasurer Jeff Rogers, as well as
Christopher Farmer ’93 of Rangeley, ME, Vice President with Skowhegan Savings Bank; Kathryn
Knight-Wise ’80 of Yarmouth, ME, President of KKW Consulting; Ivi Nwosu ’05 of Norwood, MA,
Team Leader with Fidelity Investments; and Ethan Tremblay ’15, ’17G, of Winterport, ME, Policy
& Markets Program Manager in the Maine Governor’s Energy Office.

The University of Maine Alumni Association is an alumni-governed 501c3 nonprofit organization
