Class of 2020 Fall Class Notes

The Class of 2020 is busy wrapping up advanced degrees and continuing to invest in their education!

Kayla Hayward has begun her second master’s degree, this time in school counseling at the University of Southern Maine.

Simon Perry earned his MBA from the University of Maine.

Julia Van Steenberghe is starting her doctoral studies in leadership and learning this summer at Vanderbilt University.

Leah Jennings completed her M.S. physician assistant program in May at the University of New England.

Matthew Lambert has returned home to Maine to work for Woodard and Curran. He is using his civil and environmental engineering degree to specialize in water and environmental projects there.

Bryant Goodenough completed his Ph.D. at Michigan Technological University and is now working at a research lab at Michigan Tech.

Zac Libby and Pascal Cyr both graduated in December 2024 from Parker University with a doctorate in chiropractic and are both currently residing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

With athletics, the Class of 2020 continues to have a presence on the ice. Mitch Fossier and Tim Doherty finished another season of professional hockey together, this time playing for the Nottingham Panthers of the EIHL in Nottingham, England. Ryan Smith has left the Adirondack Thunder and finished the 2024-2025 season in Germany with the Selber Wolfe of the DEL2.

Tereza Vanisova wrapped up a season with the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL), where she continues to be a standout in the league. Carly Jackson also had a wonderful PWHL season with the Toronto Sceptres and is proud to have been a player in the NHL 25 PWHL game update.
