Greetings, Class of 2004, and happy summer!
As I write this in spring, it’s already feeling like summer in east Texas. The temps are starting to creep up and the flowers are starting to bloom. Not to mention the pollen, which is exceptionally awful this year. We’re very light on class news this round so this update will be short and sweet.
Tim Fitzgibbon was selected out of thousands of applicants as of one of the four people from the US to attend a program at CERN, a science and research center in Geneva, Switzerland, this summer. He’ll be attending International Teacher Weeks, a two-week program which is designed to provide teachers with in-depth knowledge of CERN’s research and activities. Also in job news, Lindsay Jones Fitzgerald was hired as the new chief human resources officer at InterMed. She brings over 20 years of human resource experience to this new role. Congrats to you both on your achievements!
