Join the Portland Alumnae Chapter for our December luncheon and meeting, at the North Deering Tavern in Portland! You can register by clicking the button below or by calling Rebecca at the Alumni Association at 207-581-1146.
In December we like to give back to our community, and this year we will hear from Rebecca Hobbs of Through These Doors, a domestic violence resource center for all of Cumberland County, providing safety, shelter, education, advocacy and support. At our luncheon, we will have the opportunity to learn more about this important work.
We also encourage you to bring a a donated item(s) to the luncheon. By supporting Through These Doors, we can offer comfort and support to individuals and families when they need it the most.
What Through These Doors is in most need of at this time is:
Gift cards: of any amount (new or unused with original purchase balance) to stores like Walmart, Market Basket, Walgreens, Dunkin Donuts, Hannaford, Target, Trader Joes, Macy’s, TJ Maxx, or gas station cards from Cumberland Farms or Shell. Generally, gift card amounts starting at $10 are preferred.
