Class of 1966 Spring Class Notes

Greetings, everyone. I hope your winter is going well, wherever you are.

Unfortunately, no one responded to the request for news, so I have only one little personal item to share.

My mom, Ruth Meserve, taught me to read when I was four. She was a weekly volunteer at the Hollis Center Public Library.

Recently, the library was in the process of getting a book return box and I paid for that. As a result, there will be a plaque attached to the newly installed book return box, honoring my mother, who passed away in 1977. We are still working on a date for the dedication. By the time you read this, it will likely have taken place.

Remember that 2026 is the 60th anniversary of our graduation from the University of Maine. Please share your news — or send memories of your time on campus.
