Hello, classmates. Not much on my desk in the way of news for this column, unfortunately.
I did, though, receive the following note from Bud Newell:
“A group of former residents of Gannett Hall 2 North spanning graduating classes from 1976 to 1985 are establishing the Gannett Hall 2 North Alumni Scholarship through the UMaine Foundation to benefit residents of Gannett 2 North and have also started holding an annual reunion in September in Old Orchard Beach, ME. Any 2 North alumni interested in more information on either activity should contact Scott Round ’76 (sfround@gmail.com), Bud Newell ’77 (cyclingbud207@yahoo.com) or Ray McGowan ’80 (rmcgowan17@verizon.net).”
