Hello, classmates!  Hopefully it is a nice, crisp fall day when this column reaches you. Anyone have any summer adventures they’d like to share? Upcoming plans?  We would love to hear what fellow ’94ers are up to these days.

Beth and her son, Sean, had a great trip to the Washington, D.C. area in June, where she not only caught up with her co-correspondent Stacey but also got to see Pat Doak during a visit to Senator Angus King’s office. Stephen Smith, an attorney with Lipman & Katz in Augusta, received the highest rating form Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review. Stephen has been a trial lawyer for 18 years, practicing in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, and family law.

Eric S. Puls was promoted to colonel in the United States Army on January 6, 2017. Congratulations! Eric has had a distinguished military career, is a recipient of many awards including the Bronze Star Medal, and currently serves as deputy commander for FOX team in the Mission Command Training Center at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He and his wife, Monica, have two daughters, Katherine and Alexandria.

Three 1994 chemical engineering graduates met this year at Pulp and Paper Days in April on the Orono campus. Blue Keim and Angela Bennett Cushman had not seen each other since graduation day in 1994. Blue currently works at Catalyst Paper Corporation. Angela is living in Atlanta working at Halyard Health. Brian Lambert is at Nalco Company. It was a great, impromptu, unplanned reunion!
