Hearty Maine Hello from Wiesbaden, Germany! My family and I moved to Germany in July for my new assignment in the headquarters for U.S. Army Europe, where I am the chief of International Military Affairs Branch in the Security Cooperation Division. I just completed a two-year assignment in the U.S. Embassy in Astana, Kazakhstan, where I was the chief of the Office of Military Cooperation.
Since March 2016, Dan LaMontagne has been the senior director of Land Asset Management with Weyerhaeuser. As the senior director he is responsible for all timberland and real estate sales in the company’s Gulf South Region, which encompasses five million acres of highly productive southern timberlands. He and his wife, Tiffany, and their seven children relocated to Hot Springs, AR, where Weyerhaeuser’s southern headquarters is located.
Congratulations to Cindy Blodgett on her promotion to associate head coach at Boston University for women’s basketball team. Cindy arrived at BU prior to the 2014-2015 season. She has almost two decades of coaching experience, most recently as an assistant coach at Rhode Island 2011-2014, and head coach at Maine 2007-2011.
