Sorry to not have much news for the class — you will have to start doing things that put you in the newspapers.
Rosemary Wright Fitzgerald sent me a note that Lawrence “Larry” Thurrell passed away on March 18, 2022 following knee surgery and suffering a massive stroke. Larry was a member of Delta Tau Delta and served on various committees at the Memorial Union.
According to the attendees at the Ladies Who Lunch on the Fourth Friday in June, everyone had a great time. Good food, good friends — the lunch was held at Maple Hill Inn in Hallowell. Tables of eight made conversations easy including one table filled with hubbies who drove some of the ladies there.
