Hello, everyone — I had a call and nice talk with William Bower, a member of our class, who unfortunately was calling to say his brother Charles Bower had recently passed away. Charles was our class salutatorian. William then related some of his family history. There were three brothers, the third one being Robert. All three brothers were members of the Class of ‘59. Pretty interesting! Charles and William were returning veterans and majored in business and economics. Robert also joined our class. The family was from Brewer and all graduated from Brewer High School. William also told me about spending two years on Okinawa. He now lives in Auburn.
The other news item I have is Judy Ward Marshall and husband, Dave, have moved to Nichols Village, a senior community in Groveland, MA. They are thoroughly enjoying their all-one-floor cottage, one of the living options.
