We were happy to hear from George Luongo of North Reading, MA. George has fond memories of living in Gannett Hall during freshman year. We extend our condolences to the family of Elizabeth Otterson Wiley, who died in March 2021. Betsy had a master’s degree from USM and a doctorate from The George Washington University. She had taught at Deering High School, at Cape Elizabeth High School, and had been an instructor at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at USM.
