I hope 2020 is going well for you all. Steve and I were so happy to welcome our third grandchild, Avery Elizabeth Raymond Burdge, on January 3, a terrific way to start the year. She is the daughter of our middle daughter, Claire, and her husband, Daniel Burdge, of Chelmsford, UK, and joins big brother August and big sister Rowan. I was lucky enough (yay retirement) to go and do granny duty for about eight weeks. Steve joined at the end and put together a playground set (from a company that imports from Massachusetts) for the back garden.
Jeff Quinn was honored recently on his 50th anniversary as music director of Notre Dame de Lourdes in Skowhegan. Jeff began playing his freshman year, coming home each weekend to play for Mass. In addition to his busy liturgical schedule, he and his wife, Susan, own the Lakewood Theater on Wesserunsett Lake in Madison. He serves as artistic director. The historic theater also includes a restaurant and a young performers’ camp.
