Class of 1975 Winter 2022 Class Note

A beautiful fall hit Ithaca with the tree colors coming late this year. I have enjoyed visiting Orono several times this year to be with my daughter and grandson. It has been so much fun to walk on campus and show my grandson the sites. He is only one, so probably doesn’t understand much of the commentary about the places and people I knew on campus so many years ago, but I’ve had a great time. It amazes me how much of campus remains the same.

So little class news this year. Please send me news that you would like classmates to know about you.

Former Governor Paul LePage G has officially announced his candidacy to run for governor against current governor Janet Mills in 2022. Paul LePage was governor of the state of Maine from 2010 to 2018.

Shortly after graduating with an English degree and minor in education, Anni Clark spent 23 years writing and performing her music. In 2004 the economy forced her to use her education degree and teach. In 2016, Anni retired and returned to her music. Then the pandemic hit and ended all her gigs. Last spring, a slip on a dock caused her to plunge into Moosehead Lake, resulting in two days in the hospital and 20 stitches in one leg. While recovering, Anni wrote “Will It Ever Be the Same,” the title track of her new album. Tickets and details of Anni’s upcoming performances can be found at anniclark.com
