Hello, classmates. Welcome to 2022! I have just a few short notes to share with you this time around.
Gary Lamb ’83G has been appointed city manager of Hallowell. Over the years he has served as town manager of Greenville, director of planning and community development in Old Orchard Beach, and more recently was city administrator for Waterboro.
In recognition of his countless valuable contributions to the forestry industry, Richard Carbonetti of Albany, VT, was presented with the national Distinguished Forester award by the Association of Consulting Foresters of America.
Lynn Brewer Wardwell was named UMaine’s Outstanding Research Administrator for 2021. This award recognizes distinguished service by staff who support advancement of the university’s research enterprise. Currently Lynn is senior grants manager and fiscal officer for Maine Sea Grant at the University of Maine.
