REUNION October 26-28 at Homecoming

It’s been 35 years! Can you believe it? This fall, we will have our 35th Class Reunion during Homecoming Weekend, October 26-28, 2018. Perhaps you’ve already received a “Save the Date” postcard announcement. This is a milestone anniversary — if you live out-of-state, think about planning your vacation around these dates to enjoy the fall weather and visit your classmates. Take in the football game, go to the huge craft fair at the field house, and enjoy some entertainment at the Collins Center for the Arts. And of course, enjoy good food and drink at the Bear’s Den and Pat’s Pizza!

Here’s an update on some of your classmates: Joe Morris, senior vice president, west coast operations for the Stronach Group, resigned and will spend more time at his thoroughbred breeding farm in Lexington, KY. He’s looking forward to spending more time with his family in a place that he loves.

Col. Eric A. Rojo, U.S. Army (Ret) was elected the 62nd Commander in Chief of the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States. Bruce A. Jordan has been reappointed to a seven-year term as a district court judge for the Bangor District Court. Peter Owen, Bath Public Works director, was appointed by the Bath City Council as interim city manager following the departure of longtime city manager Bill Giroux. Peter Webb G, coordinator of rules interpreters for the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials, has retired after 17 years. Peter is currently Maine’s Basketball Commissioner.
