Class of 1985 Summer 2023 Class Note

Sailing through 2023 — time travels quickly! Let us know about your happenings: new employment? new retirement? new grandchildren?

Pete ’91G and Athena Louridas Hallowell ’88 have made some big changes in recent years. Athena has retired and Pete has taken on a new job as CFO of Smith’s Farm. Pete’s new position has them living in St. Augustine, FL, during the winter months and Presque Isle, ME, during the summer months. Both of their daughters were married during 2022.

Rebecca “Becky” Wyke is the chief executive officer of the Maine Public Employee Retirement System and was recently elected to serve a three-year term on the Mitchell Institute’s board of directors. The Mitchell Institute’s mission is to provide more than $1.4 million in scholarships to Maine students each year.

Hope that you take time to do the things that you love with those most dear to you. Happy summer!
