Greetings, classmates! We hope everyone is staying warm and had an enjoyable holiday season. Now to slog through the winter until spring comes. Angela Bennett Cushman sent us an email with a nice update and a great picture. In July, she and Heidi Hutchins Belisle took their Pat’s Pizza to go and headed down to the Stillwater River to catch up. Heidi lives in North Conway, NH, and Angela currently resides in Milton, GA. The two have been friends since fifth grade, and graduated from Bucksport High School before they started at Orono. It was great for them to be able to spend time together, especially on the UMaine campus!
The Maine Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association nominated Todd Livingston of South Portland for the Frank Kovaleski Professional Development Award at their spring conference. Chris Cash joined the board of the Waldo Theatre. Chris will be working on grant opportunities, data management, and outreach. JC Monahan, an NBC Boston anchor, detailed her struggle with depression in a profile for Boston Magazine.
