The American Association of University Women has awarded a fellowship to our classmate, Bonnie Newsom ’99G. Bonnie is pursuing her doctoral research in indigenous archaeology. The scholarships are for recipients with academic work and leading innovative community projects to empower women and girls. Congratulations, Bonnie!
Congratulations also go out to Ryan Smith, recently promoted to senior vice president, director of credit administration at Camden National Bank in Camden. Ryan’s been with the bank since 2012 and in this role is responsible for managing the bank’s credit group. He lives in Auburn with his family and is a member of the Commercial Lending Committee for the Maine Bankers Association.
Daniel Scott is also due for congratulations as he was recently promoted to chief warden of the Maine Warden Service of the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. He’s been with the Warden Service for over 22 years, most recently as the lieutenant of Division C in Bangor.
