Timothy Doak G is superintendent of Schools of Eastern Aroostook RSU 39 for Caribou, Limestone, and Stockholm, MSAD 20 for Fort Fairfield, and MSAD 27 for Fort Kent. He also serves on the Aroostook Mental Health Center’s board of directors.

UMaine Sports Hall of Famer and Hockey Hall of Famer Paul Kariya had his Number 9 NHL jersey retired by the Anaheim Ducks. Paul was the first draft pick in the history of the then-Mighty Ducks. He scored 300 of his 402 career goals for the Ducks and served as captain for seven seasons. Paul lives in Dana Point, California, where he is an avid surfer.

Dean Martin is the new executive director of the Friends of Fort Knox and the Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory. He retired from active duty Army as a lieutenant colonel after serving more than 24 years. He lives in Orland.

Carolyn Copenheaver G is associate professor of forest ecology at Virginia Tech. She received the 2018 Carl Alwin Schenectady Award from the Society of American Foresters. She is the first woman to receive the award in its 30-year history.

Richard Couch G is the associate program director for the Alzheimer’s Central New York Chapter.

Michael Crafts is director of public works in Brunswick.
