Greetings, Class of 2005! Oktoberfest and Christkindlesmarkts have passed and we are into the winter months here in Bavaria. We didn’t make it to the game in London but cheered on Patrick Ricard ’16 and his fellow Ravens from home as they played the Titans. Patrick is a former Black Bear, who played at Maine from 2013-2016. It’s always fun to see American sports advertised overseas. We are looking forward to Paris hosting the Olympics in the next few months. Maybe we’ll see you there?
Katrine Alcaide was recently inducted to the Class of 2023 Maine Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame. While at Maine, Katrine was a two-time 50 free gold medalist and a 100 free champion at the America East Championships. Congratulations to Katrine, as well as the other inductees.
Congratulations are also in order for Elizabeth Munson Savage and her spouse, who welcomed a baby boy in March of 2023. Earl Charles Tiberius Savage weighed in at three pounds and 13 ounces, but quadrupled his birth weight within a couple of months! The days are long but the years are short — enjoy, Savage family!
