Class of 2007 Summer 2023 Class Note

Happy summer! I hope you are enjoying the warm weather with your friends and family. As usual, our classmates are out in the world doing wonderful things that are worth sharing with all of you. If you have your own news to share, please reach out so I can add it to the winter column.

Tiffany Warzecha Carlson recently graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, while her youngest child graduated kindergarten. Tiffany moved from Illinois to San Antonio, TX ,to begin her new adventure in Army medicine. Good luck, Tiffany!

After 10 years of employment, Jason Jendrasko was named the president of BENCHMARK Construction in Westbrook. Starting as a project manager, Jason worked his way up the ranks to business development manager and then vice president. Before joining BENCHMARK, Jason worked for a large corporation in Boston.

Joshua Randlett was recently hired as vice president, corporate counsel for Cross Insurance. Joshua had a varied career in law before this new job as both a partner at Rudman Winchell in Bangor and as a judge of the Maine District Court.

HealthReach Community Health Centers has named Lisa Gibson Landry to its governing board of directors. HealthReach Community Health Centers, a private non-profit, consists of 12 community health centers in western and central Maine aiming to deliver high quality healthcare care, including mental health and dental, to nine Maine counties. Lisa is the director of human resources at Reding Fairview Hospital in Skowhegan. After leaving Orono, Lisa obtained degrees at the University of Maine Law School and the University of Ohio. 

Amanda Sprowl Simko and her husband, Jesse Simko ’08, launched Maine Cup, an online coffee subscription solely devoted to Maine roasters. Subscribers receive a new coffee each month from one of the nearly 60 affiliated Maine roasters, as well as members-only content. Amanda and her husband were inspired to create Maine Cup after traveling across Maine and experiencing the many coffee roasters scattered across the state. If you love coffee and supporting Maine business, check out Maine Cup on social media or their website. 

Homecoming Weekend is October 13-15 with a variety of activities scheduled.
