Greetings, classmates!
This is a quick column this time around, as I only have two updates. Please keep me posted on all the things you are doing, so I can update our class!
First off, congratulations go out to classmate Todd Sanders G, who is the new superintendent of RSU 16! The previous superintendent retired at the end of this school year, and Todd left his former position as the superintendent of SAD 58 after four years to make the switch to RSU 16. Todd has already logged a great deal of time in the education administration field, as he previously spent 11 years at Gardiner Regional Middle School as their principal.
I also recently received word about classmate Jesse Simko, who, along with his wife, Amanda Sprowl Simko ’07, opened a new Rockport-based business, Maine Cup! Maine Cup is a monthly coffee subscription service that specifically features Maine roasters. This is a one-of-a-kind subscription service, and you can check them out on Instagram at mainecup and their website mainecup.com.
