Hi everyone—I hope your spring is going well.
There wasn’t much news this time, so please send your updates via email, Facebook, or the Alumni Association’s “Send us your News” page on UMaineAlumni.com. Members of our class are doing interesting things, and it would be great to hear about them.
Nicole Emery Hasenfus purchased the Augusta dental office of a retiring dentist last summer. Nicole, who studied at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, after UMaine, works with another dentist at Hasenfus Family Dental.
Ryan Forrest is the baseball team’s pitching coach at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado. Prior to joining the Falcons he worked as assistant coach at Mississippi College. Ryan played baseball at UMaine, and later worked at his alma mater as an assistant coach before earning a master’s in sport management.
The superintendent of RSU in Readfield, ME, Donna H. Wolfrom Ed.D., was chosen to become Cape Elizabeth’s new superintendent. She plans to finish this school year at the Maranacook Area Schools and assume her new position in Cape Elizabeth in time for the 2018-2019 academic year.
