Caroline Curtis ’15G was hired by Crowley Maritime Corporation in May 2018 and is now a merchant marine on the American Liberty, a coastwise 600-foot oil/chemical tanker. She is currently working towards her 2nd Mate unlimited license. Jeff Spaulding was promoted to project manager at Stillwater Environmental Engineering. Eben Sypitkowski G became the new head of Baxter State Park in June 2018. Thomas Biskup was promoted to assistant coach of the University of Maine Women’s Basketball team. Sarah Nichols was selected as the Bangor City Council Chair. Sarah works for the Maine Education Association in Augusta.
Riley Masters, who runs professionally for Nike, finished fourth at the 5,000 meters at the USA Track and Field National Championships in June. Sarah Smiley G published her final column in 2018 after 16 years of weekly syndication, the final 10 of those years spent living in Bangor. Mason ‘11 and Caroline Freeman Palmatier are the new owners of the Little Dog Coffee Shop in Brunswick, ME.
Emmalee Corinne Torisk and Jamison Todd Cocklin were married in August 2018 in Pittsburgh, PA. Owen Jones and Allison Hammond ’15 were married in Rangeley, ME.
