Happy winter, everyone — I hope 2020 is a good year for you all.
Last summer, Katrina Mishel participated in Miami University’s Earth Expeditions global field course in Baja, studying desert and marine landscapes through ecological and social field methods. Katrina, who is a veterinary technician at Somerville Veterinary Center, lives in Lynn, MA, and is a graduate student in Miami University’s Global Field Program.
