Winter greetings, Class of ’16!
Below are a few updates about classmates. There’s more, but we need some help gathering and sharing the news in the magazine. To become the class correspondent for 2016, please contact abigail.zelz@maine.edu.

Lauren Selwood is a content producer for Rinck Advertising. She previously held marketing and sales roles for Benjamin Walk and Dream Local.
Basketball star Liz Wood is among the newest inductees in the UMaine Sports Hall of Fame. Liz helped the Black Bears earn American East season titles and was named the America East Female Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2016.

Congratulations to Ambureen Rana, who was elected to the Maine State House of Representatives in November. Ambureen represents House District 21 (Bangor) and is one of the first Muslim women to be joining the leadership at the State House, as well as the first South Asian person to be elected. The Class of 2016 needs someone to write the class news twice a year. There’s more to report, but we need your help.
Please contact abigail.zelz@maine.edu to write the twice-a-year column.
