This annual celebration invites alumni, students, and the broader university community to reconnect and celebrate their Black Bear pride. Attendees can look forward to a weekend filled with athletic events, social gatherings, and opportunities to engage with the university’s traditions and achievements.

Join the University of Maine Mid Coast Alumni for a night of laughter,
mystery, and Downeast charm as Portland Stage presents “Dirty Deeds
Downeast”, a new play by Brent Askari.

Thanks to the generosity of Portland Stage Company, we are able to offer tickets for $53 per person, with $25 directly supporting UMaine student scholarships.

Guest Speaker, Donna Loring ’86, ’17 Hon. L.H.D.

Donna Loring is a lifelong advocate for Native rights, a U.S. Army veteran, and a former tribal representative in the Maine Legislature. She authored the landmark law requiring Wabanaki history be taught in Maine schools and initiated the historic “State of the Tribes Address” to the Legislature. A published author and host of the award-winning radio program Wabanaki Windows, Loring has received numerous honors for her work in civil rights, education, and public service. She currently serves on the University of Maine System Board of Trustees.
