Dr. Neil Comins is an astrophysicist, astronomer, and professor of physics and astronomy at the University of Maine. He has authored more than 20 published books on astronomy and space, with sales exceeding 500,000 copies. Dr. Comins is a popular public speaker and has been featured on more than 100 radio and TV programs. He joined the UMaine faculty in 1978.
