Maine Day and the 7th annual Maine Day of Giving took place on April 27, 2022. Despite a cool, damp day, students armed with rakes, shovels, and other tools spruced up the campus and participated in the annual tradition.
The UMaine Foundation reported a resounding success for the Maine Day of Giving. More than 1,000 Black Bears and friends in 36 states and 7 countries donated a grand total of $2,720,856.
