The UMaine Alumni Association and the Greater Bangor Area Branch NAACP are pleased to present the inaugural Robert Talbot Civil Rights Speaker Series with Amy Banks and Isaac Knapper, co-authors of “Fighting Time,” on the UMaine campus at Wells Conference Center.
Banks and Knapper will present on their book about Knapper’s wrongful conviction for the 1979 murder of Banks’s father, UMaine History Professor Ronald Banks. The presentation is available to livestream here: https://youtu.be/2W2L8dIBhww. Tune in at 5:30 pm on Thursday, October 21st.
